1) What is a Penny Auction?
Penny Auctions are a new type of auctions such as Swoopo, Madbid, Beezid, and many more. They are not your traditional auctions where people up-bid the price by the desired amount, instead the bidding increments are set by the auction management, and the bids are sold at a certain price, so bidding is not free. Participating in an auction requires you to pay for every bid placed, a bid raises the price usually by .01 cents, this is why many refer to them as penny auctions.
2) Why are they so popular?
The reason they’re so popular is because it’s the only place someone can log in, have fun, and possibly win a brand new and expensive product for an extremely low price.
